Upon analyzing Facebook account of J&R Cosmetics, we identified three critical issues preventing growth: The Add-to-Cart: Traffic was high, yet 72% of people abandoned their carts. This company focused only on optimization through "Purchases" despite the lack of warmed-up audiences. That is why they had a high CPM and ROAS 1.8x. Creative: The brand relied on two studio-shot product photos. In the US skincare market, it takes the average customer seeing an advertisement 7-9 times before making a purchase, but their frequency reached 2.5 within 3 days which is killing performance. iOS 14+ Blindness: J&R Cosmetics was heavily reliant on Pixel data, missing 30% of conversions due to Apple’s privacy updates. The ads became less accurate, and money was being wasted.
We completely changed their ad setup by building a three-stage system to guide people from first seeing the brand to finally buying it. First, for new people, we stopped using boring studio photos and instead we used fun short videos, like a serum dripping off a spoon and an eye cream removing puffiness, with a catchy hook to make them stop scrolling without trying to sell anything. Next, for people who showed interest by watching our videos, we sent them to a quick three-question quiz to learn about their skin type and showed them unboxing videos from small influencers, comparing our brand to popular ones to build trust. Finally, for people who were ready to buy, we targeted those who visited the website, left items in their cart, or finished the quiz, and offered them a bundle deal of three products at a discount, adding low-stock warnings and a free shipping timer to create urgency while letting Facebook's AI find the best buyers. To keep everything working, we followed one golden rule: if any ad was seen more than 1.8 times per person within seven days, we paused it and replaced it with a fresh video, rotating between three angles like ingredients, lifestyle, and skin problems, which kept people interested and stopped them from getting bored.
Within just three months, J&R Cosmetics saw amazing growth. For every $1 they spent on ads, they started making $4.20 back, compared to only $1.80 before more than double their profit. The cost to get a new customer dropped from $38 to just $22, which meant they could increase their daily ad budget by three times without losing money. Monthly sales jumped from $150,000 to $650,000, and customers started spending more per order from $52 to $67 because of the bundle deals.
With our Social Media Advertising Services, they also recovered 18% of lost sales by retargeting people who left items in their cart within just three hours. Overall, the brand is now on track to hit $1 million in monthly sales very soon, all because they stopped selling too fast and started guiding customers step by step.
